Career choice….?

As a kid I really wanted to be an artist, I was way ahead of my age with my drawing and creativity. when i got into middle school I realized that I couldn’t make a living off that and no matter how good I got I could never be the next da vinci or michelangelo, so i started leaning toward archetecture. Honestly I am really good with math, its my strong suit. But in high school I did really bad in physics and only so-so in calc but I took Japanese got straight A’s went to Japan and started to love the culture and everything about it so i knew i wanted to make it a part of my life. So in college I major in Japanese. I’m really interested in robotics, and cars. So here’s what I’m thinking, either I can work on building robots in Japan like “Asimo.” or I’d love to design cars. concept cars are so awesome, and I could use drawing and japanese in these careers. But I’m afraid because I lost confidence in my engineering abilities. can anyone in the field give me guidance or advice?

Career planning is a continuous development process through which we attempt to understand our personal, family, school, work and community experiences and the significance they are likely to have in building career and choice of lifestyle. We need to identify opportunities and to identify options. We need to examine our personal interests and skills as they relate to a variety of career opportunities to help us make appropriate and realistic decisions. Keep in mind that the goal of exploring career is not just employment but a purposeful of integrating our personal interests and values with the kinds of work that are most satisfying for us.
