Dr Ashish Pitale is a Senior Consultant Surgeon with special interest in Laparoscopic Surgery.
He has more than 15 years of experience after completing his postgraduatuion.
He obtained his graduation (MBBS) and postgraduation (MS in Surgery) from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu university.
He was successful in passing the exam and obtaining the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons , Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in 2000.
He subsequently went to the UK and gained extensive experience in Gastrointestinal, Laparoscopic , Thyroid and Breast surgery.
At present he is attached with Columbia Asia Hospital and Artemis Hospital in Gurgaon and runs his own clinic in Dwarka, New Delhi.
He has gained expertise in the new operative technique called Laparoscopic surgery.
This entails minimally invasive techniques for performing surgeries esp. abdominal surgery viz. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (Removal of gallbladder for gallstone disease) , Laparoscopic Appendicectomy(Removal of inflammed appendix), Laparoscopic repair of hernias etc.
